HPSC HCS Recruitment Qualification
No person shall be eligible to be appointed a civil judge (junior division) unless he holds a degree of bachelor of laws from a university established by the law and approved/recognized by the bar council of india on or before closing date i.e. 15.02.2021
The expression “Degree Of Bachelor Of Laws” means a degree entitling a candidate to be enrolled as an advocate under the advocate act, 1961 and the rules made there under.
The candidate should hold the degree of bachelor of law on or before the closing date for submission of online form i.e. 15.02.2021

Candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42 years as on 15.02.2021

The selection of suitable candidates for appointment in HCS (Judicial Branch) will be made by holding an exam. The exam shall be conducted in three stages namely-
Preliminary examination
Main written examination
Viva-voce
HPSC HCS Recruitment Preliminary exam Pattern 2021
The question paper for preliminary exam shall be of two hours duration. It shall consist a maximum of 125 questions and each question shall carry 04 marks and for every wrong answer 0.80 i.e. 20% or say 1/5th mark shall be deducted. There wil however be no negative marking in respect of un-attampted questions.

The preliminary exam is to be conducted in the month of april tentatively subject to availibality of infrastructure etc. and keeping in view prevailing conditions of COVID-19 pandemic at that time.
How to apply HPSC HCS Application Form 2021
Due care should be taken by the candidates while filling up the online application form. Incomplete or defective application form shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.
Candidates are not required to send hard copy of their online application form or any other document to the commission. If any candidate will send hard copy of his/her online application form the same will not be entertained by the commission. However, they can retain the hard copy of their online application form for their own record.
